THE MINISTRY I SEE

Pastor Lucas Forsthoff

I see Cornerstone as a place where young adults come and find life in Jesus. A place where the lonely could be set in a family. A place where the doubting heart or skeptic could find peace. A place where the depressed could come into an environment of life, praise, encouragement, and friendship to be swept up in a different life style. I see Cornerstone being the highlight of your week. A place where people can escape pressure of school, work, family or relationships and find life.

I see a place where people come feeling one way and leave feeling alive and full of life. I see a place where people feel loved as soon as they come through our doors and have a friend by the time they go home. I see a place where hearts warm up to God during worship and believe upon Jesus as Lord and Savior by the end of the service. I see a place that offers life and encouragement to everyone who walks through the doors no matter who they are or where they have come from. I see a place filled with people who others thought they would never step foot in church let alone love church. I see a church filled with faith and joy beyond explanation. I see a place filled with people who search for people to bring to church. I see a place filled with people who invest themselves into others so they can find LIFE (JESUS).

I see a place filled with people who are amazed with Jesus because of the environment they walked into. I see a place where people put aside their own agendas and feelings to reach out and love others. I see a place where young adults forget themselves and their own desires for 3 hours every Sunday morning so others can experience friendship and the love of God.

I see a place who follows Jesus, not a person, personality, or program. I see a people who are willing to put aside a too cool for school mentality and become all things to all people. I see a place that is a light shining on a hill for others to not only come and be a part of but for other churches to learn and glean from. I see a growing ministry that attracts all people from all walks of life. I see a place that looks different from the world but attracts the world. I see a place filled with people that not only loves Jesus but also loves one another fiercely. I see revival.
